A catering company specializing in weddings and large corporate events in nead of a new website and a high performing traffic strategy.
Background
The client had a poorly designed website that was neither good at converting visitors into customers. Many potential customers were brides looking for a wedding caterer and the unpolished site was definitely costing the company bookings. The client had been advertising in local magazines but most customers came as a result of word-of-mouth.
The challenge was to both redesign the website in order to cater to high-end clients and drive qualified traffic to the site via PPC.
The Solution
LucidLead was brought in during the design and planning phase to create the clients website and manage all online marketing activities. LucidLead was responsible for all site copy, analytics tracking, SEO, and flash website design. We were also fully responsible for all aspects of the online advertising including PPC, SEO and directory placements.
The first step was to optimize the site for conversions. After a suitable conversion rate had been achieved we created a scalable Search Based PPC campaign using Google, Bing and Yahoo.
Results
After a few weeks and only $100 spent on PPC advertising the website had brought in $9000 in new bookings resulting in a very healthy 8900% ROI.

A leading Loss Mitigation Firm with over 20 years in the mortgage industry.
Background
While the client has over 20 years working face to face with high wealth clients, they had just recently begun advertising on the internet and in fact had just produced a DIY system to help homeowners who could not afford their high fees.
The client needed assistance in all aspects of creating the product and marketing it online.
LucidLead was brought into both create the packing and digital framework of the product as well as design the website and create successful marketing strategy. One of the most daunting hurdles to overcome was the fact that as a product with a price point of only $250 it was hard to compete with loan mod and foreclosure counseling specialists who were advertising in the same space and for the same keywords. These types of firms will make thousands off of a successful “sale” so our average Value Per Visitor was much lower than out competition making it difficult to compete on the major CPC networks.
The Solution
LucidLead created a fully interactive downloadable PDF file that contained all instructions as well as all forms needed to complete the system. The focus was on creating a simple to follow system that would allow the customers who bought it to focus on the task at hand and not worry about the technology behind it.
Second LucidLead focused on creating a website that would convert leads into sales, writing all copy, designing the site and interfacing it with the clients shopping cart and affiliate software.
Lastly, we created a full affiliate strategy that would help cut advertising costs and quickly spread the word about a very useful product. The affiliate strategy included writing and producing a full “affiliate package” that would serve as both and introduction and an education about the program and the benefits of promoting it. Using affiliates to promote the product allowed us to bypass the CPC networks and instead acquire highly qualified leads for very little cost.
We still manage the affiliate program in house today.
Results
Today, the combination of a high conversion rate website and qualified affiliate leads are generating upwards of 750 to 1,000 sales per month for the client’s system – double the client’s aggressive target.
The upfront lead cost was reduced by as much as 95% by using an aggressive affiliate strategy.
